2007 Review Elizabeth Adam Salon and Spa at Water Tower Place provides a refuge from the harried pace that many would admit define our lives. It is in this refuge that Elizabeth Adam offers a menu of Spa and Salon services sure to suit one's every need. They offer in demand services like Thermal Reconditioning and Microdermabrasion as well as a bevy of unique treatments such as the Detoxifying Body Treatment and the Soho Pedicure. As I enter Elizabeth Adam Salon and Spa strains of a classical piece play softly in the background. I am warmly greeted by the receptionist and led into a cozy changing room. I slip into a velvety soft robe, a bikini and pair of slippers. I emerge snuggled in pink and prepared to be pampered. The masseuse escorts me into a treatment room where my decadent journey, a one-hour chocolate raspberry body scrub, begins. The room is softly lit. A candle flickers on a corner cabinet next to a container of warming chocolate raspberry scrub. My masseuse requests that I undress and lie on a soft bed layered with warmed sheets. She exits the room as I slip under the delicate linens. The senses have been awakened and the body is about to be rewarded. The scrub is relaxing and rejuvenating, a mixture of a thorough exfoliation and distressing massage with the fringe benefit of sweet aromatherapy. I leave my treatment feeling like a new woman with one conviction... I'll be back! After all, there is so much more on the menu and this is one habit I won't want to break.
