Customized Facial and Aveda Plant Peel

Tirra Salon & Spa has evolved into a River North staple. Sandwiched between a flower shop and photography studio, this Aveda Concept Salon and Spa is conveniently located on Erie Street amongst urban condominium buildings and a flourishing restaurant scene. Metered parking is available in front and on neighboring streets.

Tirra's sophisticated spa offerings are housed within an urban oasis. Exposed bring walls frame a plush but modern setting filled with muted sage and taupe furniture. The aroma of eucalyptus fills the air creating a tranquil atmosphere. On my visit to Tirra, I immediately forgot my mile-long "To Do" list and melted into relaxation.

Aveda Body Polish & Hot Stone Massage

As I made my way down Erie Street to Tirra Salon and Spa just west of Orleans Street, I noticed how popular this section of River North had become since the first time I visited this Aveda concept salon several years ago. And Tirra is still standing strong.

In a nutshell

All in all, Tirra is a first-class Salon and Spa. Everyone I met was a professional, and dedicated to the finest customer service. I felt pampered from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The employees at Tirra combined with the calming decor, made me feel as if I had been transported into another relaxing, stress-free world, if only for a few hours!

Aveda Manicure and Pedicure

Stepping into the hip, River North salon Tirra, I was instantly greeted by a warm and welcoming, bright and lofty space. The ladies at the front desk greeted me and offered my choice of pastry, ice water, tea or coffee, I was shown the way to a pedicure nook, cordoned off by curtains for privacy (who wants their calluses revealed to the world?) On the way, I took note of the exposed brick, earth-toned furnishings, brushed metal mirrors, lush leather chairs and large bay windows. The space was stylishly adorned and upbeat, hip music lingered in the background, setting the tone for a lively experience.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, hair can make or break my day. Unfortunately, it was breaking more days than I care to admit. That is until I discovered my troubled tresses’ saving grace: Tirra Salon and Spa. Located on Erie Street in River North, at Tirra, an Aveda concept salon,  pure bliss awaits. The hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and brushed metal mirrors give this salon and spa a sense of style and organic appeal.
