Love it or Leave it: The Trend Edition
Short, well-manicured nails have become a true style staple. Best of all, basic good grooming and a well-timed manicure is all one needs to keep this trend at hand. In the gym, we totally approve of headbands. Worn across the forehead a la Nicole Richie, this -- ahem -- trend is trying so hard, it’s enough to make us break out in a sweat. We love to sparkle as much as the next girl, we just prefer to get the job done via a dazzling smile, an iced ring finger or even just a twinkle in the eye.

The truth is, there are few things in life that can make one feel completely reinvented, and lash extensions are one of them. We don’t need more money or better jobs to be happier; all we need are lashes that make us feel like a million bucks.
Yes, the truly stunning may be able to pull off heinous bangs (think Natalie Portman) but for most of us (including Christina), the short, harsh bangs in recent favor are not flattering. Fringe that is soft, side swept or long and layered is haute, but bangs cut more than an inch above the brow leave us less than bowled over. |
