the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Once there,
you can verify the status of your doctor's state license as well as seeing if
your doctor has ever been disciplined and if so, for what offense. Questions
to ask your plastic surgeon: - How many procedures of this type
have you performed?
- What are the risks involved with the procedure?

- How much will the surgery cost? In
most cases, your surgery won't be covered by insurance so make sure that you understand
all the costs before committing. The doctor's fee often does not include the anesthesiologists
fee and may not include surgery center or hospital fees.
