Carolyn Brundage, Founder and CEO

Propelled by an intense love of all things beautiful and an extensive technology background, Carolyn Brundage built an online beauty mecca. Its purpose? Serve as a destination for savvy spa and salon goers as well as a regional directory of indulgence. All while offering up beauty bargains on everything from massages to manicures, from cosmetics to collagen.

In 2006, Carolyn and her team of beauty mavens launched PrettyCity.com, beautifying the nation's chicest cities from Atlanta to LA, from Miami to Denver and beyond.

Johanna Grange, National Director of Advertising

Johanna graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Journalism and English. This Barrington, IL native spent the beginning of her career in marketing, before deciding that corporate America was not fulfilling her love of beauty, fashion and..parties! She joined Pretty City, Inc. in 2003 as a special events coordinator before coming onboard full time as the Director of Marketing and Advertising in 2004. Armed with an extensive marketing and advertising background and an uncanny understanding of what's hip, Johanna now crafts win-win partnerships with national advertisers as well as local spas and salons. From executing premium events to carrying out grand scale branding campaigns, Johanna's knack for marketing is unmatched.

Donna Ross, Web Director

Donna Ross graduated from Eastern Illinois University in May 2002 with a BS degree in Fashion Merchandising. She first immersed herself in the retail industry, exploring such careers in Management and Visual Merchandising.

In 2006 she decided to try her hand in the beauty industry and joined the PrettyCity Team. She began her role here as the official "Spa Girl" and worked her way up to her current role as our Web Director.

Donna helps women and men from coast-to-coast get gorgeous, by running the website. She works hard to keep PrettyCity fresh and exciting with her creative niche.

Tiffany Augsburg, Midwest Account Executive

Yet another alumni hailing from the University of Iowa, Tiffany graduated with a degree in both Marketing and in Management Information Systems. She is unbelievably excited to blend her passion for marketing with her professional background in technology.
Tiffany loves spending her days interfacing with Spa and Salon owners who are excited about what they do, and she truly enjoys playing an integral role in growing their businesses. Who could ask for a better "office" than the top Northern Chicago Suburb beauty destinations?
Finally, as a beauty product addict (hey, everyone has a vice), she loves trying all lines of hair care, skin care, cosmetics. you name it!

Sarah Schilling, Event Director

Originally from Pensacola, FL, Sarah graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in International Business. She explored many facets of the fashion & retail world prior to finding her way to the PrettyCity team. Sarah's journey began with a semester studying in Milan where her interest in the fashion industry was solidified and her deep love of travel and adventure was imbedded within her. Her journey next took her to New York City where she managed a designer's showroom & studio and later led to several freelance retail consulting positions where she realized her secret passion for events before finding her home among the PrettyCity Team.

Sarah joined PrettyCity in May of 2007 and enjoys her role as Executive Manager as it allows her to satisfy her passion for beauty, fashion, events & travel.

Audrey Caan, Los Angeles Account Executive

Audrey Caan joins Los Angeles PrettyCity with an impressive backround in marketing, sales and deal brokering in the entertainment industry and beyond.

Caan graduated a year early from University of Pennsylvania and deferred admission to Wharton Grad for a year, while she spent a year going through the Saks Fifth Avenue Buyer training program in Manhattan.

Caan headed to Los Angeles in the summer of '79 and began working in the mailroom at William Morris in January of '80; there she became the first female from the training program to be promoted to agent status.

After five years, Caan went to Triad Artists, a year after its inception, and became VP of Motion Pictures. Over the years, she has worked with almost every top member of the entertainment industry and negotiated many groundbreaking deals.

Following her agency experience, Caan started her personal management company, handling artists across-the board. As the entertainment industry has suffered the slings and arrows of the times, Caan decided to make the move to PrettyCity.com, calling upon her MBA and sales/marketing expertise to craft heavenly partnerships in the City of Angels.

Amelia Keith, Charlotte Account Executive

Amelia Keith set out to define Charlotte, NC as one of the prettiest cities in the South when she joined Pretty City, Inc. as the Charlotte PrettyCity Representative. Keith, the former owner of the Allure Image Management, was named Best Creative Professional in the 2008 American Business Awards, hailed as the "business world's own Oscars" by The New York Post. Keith also was a 2007 and 2008 finalist in the category of Best Corporate Communicator.

In addition to heading up the Charlotte PrettyCity guide, Keith is currently is a personal and professional development consultant with MySkinWithin, specializing in improving the overall wellness of individuals by providing image consulting, wardrobe analysis, interview skills, self confidence boosting skills among other services. Keith believes along with physical image, inner strength is the key to reflecting individuality.

From local runway shows to major film festivals, Keith has had success at all levels of the beauty and talent industry. According to her, “My focus is to help develop individuals mentally and physically so that they may become more successful in their career as well as their everyday life. Many ignore their dreams because of self doubt. The first step in succeeding is believing in yourself. If you don’t, no one else ever will. You have one chance to make a first impression which will be a lasting impression.”

Katie Lewis, Tampa Bay Account Executive

After spending a few years experiencing different career outlets, Katie realized that her talents and creativity were much better spent at PrettyCity. This Minnesota native moved to Florida only to discover her deep love of beauty. During her last year of college from the University of South Florida she interned for PrettyCity before coming onboard full time as a Tampa Bay Account Executive. Katie enjoys spending her days building strong relationships with her clients and helping them grow their business. In her spare time, Katie enjoys soaking up the Florida sun (with SPF, of course!), traveling, cooking and learning new ways to beautify the Tampa Bay area. Katie is determined to show everyone how pretty Tampa Bay is by bringing the best from inside the beauty world.

Julia Spillman, Tampa Bay Account Executive

Julia has a degree in Exercise Physiology from Western Kentucky University and a love for all things fitness, beauty, and fashion. Her mother taught her the importance of a healthy lifestyle, including regular spa visits.

After 7 years in sales and event planning, Julia wanted to find a way to use those talents, but focused in an industry she was passionate about. She is very excited to bring that passion and talent to "pretty" the Tampa Bay area!

Andreea Condur, New York City Account Executive

Born and raised in New York City, Andreea graduated from Queens College where she played varsity tennis and basketball, with a degree in English Creative Writing.

Her passion for athletics and physical activities gave her incentive to find a career that promotes beauty, health and wellness. She found a home with Prettycity.com where we believe women are fabulous and should be pampered for all the hard work they do. Andreea is excited to be representing prettycity.com in the social scene of New York City, the city that never sleeps and never forgets to get a manicure.

Kim Bayne Lembi, San Francisco PrettyCity Representative

Kim hails from a long line of Hairdressers. With four Great Aunts and her Grandmother in the industry, making people pretty is in her blood. Kim started her career as a Hairdresser 23 years ago in Silicon Valley. She has worked with Professional hair care manufactures as an Educator. Kim taught other Industry Professionals how to increase revenue through client retention and retail sales. In order to further educate herself, Kim traveled coast to coast to attend classes by celebrity stylist and makeup artists. In 1999, she followed her heart to Sonoma County, Ca.

Kim owned a large Salon for seven years. One of her favorite parts of her salon was The Beauty Bar filled with high end makeup and hair care lines. Kim won a National Hairstyling Contest in 2007 from a New York City based hair care line. Kim teaches her clients that feeling beautiful comes from inner confidence and being kind to your self.

Elvia Steiner, Illinois PrettyCity Representative

Elvia Steiner a native of Chicago remembers spending lots of time in the city with her dad and experiencing Chicago for everything that the city has to offer. She developed big dreams exploring every asset of the city. In her exploration she fell in love with the culture that has so much beauty and depth. Putting on her Rose -colored glasses, she vowed to learn to create beauty and paint her way through the industry, using the city as her canvas and creativity as her tool. Through, personal educational development and knowledge. She gained her skill, training with Leaders within the Beauty Industry. Becoming well versed in her expertise to understand that beauty is beyond just the outer surface, it’s a lifestyle of loving yourself inside and out.

A Graduate, of Pivot Point International, with her career starting in the Gold Coast she honed in on learning the in’s and out of hair artistry, makeup artistry, and skincare. With 9 years in the beauty industry, she has the expertise and skill that qualify her to be the Expert.

Ronda Joubert, Sales Manager

Ronda is a Texas native and graduate of the University of Illinois with a family full of generations of sales and beauty professionals. After 12 years in real estate it would seem fitting that she would be working with the PrettyCity team. She brings years of consultative selling and client management and loves the positive energy and passion of beauty professionals. Ronda enjoys being surrounded by beautiful things and believes in the value of taking care of oneself . She thinks self- confidence is the most attractive attribute a person can have adn loves being a part of such an awesome group of ambitious beauty loving professionals.

PrettyCity Interns

Cassie Martinson, Public Relations and Special Events Coordinator

Cassie is currently enrolled in her last semester at Lewis University as a Public Relations major. She is a self-proclaimed M.A.C. addict, with a passion for all things beauty related.

In the summer of 2007, she attended a Chicago-based makeup school and became certified in makeup artistry. Since then, she has wondered how she can have a career in two things she loves: cosmetics and PR.

As a PrettyCity intern, Cassie is excited to be able to combine two of her interests while expanding her knowledge of PR and beauty, and of course the big city!

Kara Kristoff, Public Relations and Special Events Coordinator

Raised in Crown Point, Indiana, Kara was strapped to a booster seat numerous times a year to be dragged to the wonderful malls and boutiques in the Chicago suburbs with her mom for shopping excursions. Little did she know that her mom would be her tour guide on natural feminine beauty and fuel her passion for fashion and fitness.

She is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College with degrees in Marketing and Journalism, and is a former NCAA Division II softball athlete. When she wasn’t painting her nails on team road trips, she was beginning her Marketing career as an Intern in Sales as well as Event Marketing. She has a true passion for writing and would love to further her career in Public Relations. Kara joined the PrettyCity team in 2010 as a PR Intern, which allows her to enjoy her niche for fashion as well as writing, communicating, and promoting the PrettyCity brand!
