Long over-do barely described my urgent need for some updating and much needed maintenance on my 'do, and lucky for me, the staff at Parto Naderi: A Creation de Beaute was ready to help me in my quest.

Located in River North, a chic neighborhood complete with art galleries, antique stores, and must-try restos, Parto Naderi draws a sophisticated clientele, who are welcomed (or welcomed back) with a warm reception. Not only have many of the clients been loyal to the salon for years but so too has most of the staff. 

The owner, Parto Naderi welcomed me to his salon and spa with a smile and led me on a tour of the expansive space. The tour started with the salon level, where a dozen or so chairs line up, paired with expert stylists who greet guests in need of both complete transformations and requisite trims. Further back in the salon, another wall boasts coloring stations followed by a well-lit, warm, open backroom which houses OPI stocked Manicure and Spa Pedicure Stations.

On the lower level of the space, I was shown to a serene, candle-lit spa that engages all the senses.  The spa is replete with three different rooms, a "wet" room containing a Vichy shower -- where massages and body treatments are performed -- and two other treatment rooms where European style facials and waxing services are offered.
