If you think soy is just something found in your morning latte, your skin may be missing out.

Experts agree, soy works to reduce blotchiness and discoloration, as well as moisturizing skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines.

That's because soybeans contain a host of isoflavones, potent antioxidants that have been proven to improve skin tone, reduce hyperpigmentation and even improve skin texture.

We've rounded up the best in soy, from the ultra- affordable drugstore brands to the pricier (but well worth the investment) boutique brands we love.

The Inside Scoop: CHEW Chicago in Lakeview

Located in Lakeview, CHEW (Complete Health Education & Wellness) Chicago has an intimate, albeit obscure, office space in a large building that's still dominated by its large former inhabitant, the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. But don't let the size of the CHEW office fool you; it may be a small space, but huge, life changing, diet and wellness transformations abound.

Holistic Health Counselor and CHEW proprietor Jessica Marie doesn't do the standard American diet (often referred to as S.A.D.). She won't pull out an old school pyramid model and tell you that you need to have so many servings of dairy or carbs a day as most traditional nutritionists. She takes a whole body, or holistic, approach to wellness, that combines quality, clean, energizing foods, wellness suggestions (massage, bodywork, etc.) and exercise recommendations customized for each client based on their lifestyle, body type, taste and health goals.

New PrettyCity Spot: Le Bon Visage

You're demanding. Maybe even a little spoiled. You'd rather pay to valet than scour for street parking. You have your denim custom tailored at Gus' Tailor Shop. You're martinis are extra dirty, three olives not two, and always made with frigid IDÔL Vodka.

Not to worry, diva we've found your skin savior. Nestled on East Erie Street, we discovered Liz Quesnelle, esthetician extraordinaire, and owner of Le Bon Visage, an open-by-appointment-only Gold Coast beauty destination.

Believing that customized skin care is the only skin care that works, Quesnelle offers up personalized facials that target specific needs. Each facial is one hour long and each costs $75. That's where the similarities end. Clients are treated to customized services that may -- or may not -- include elements ranging from extractions to treatment masks. There are no cutesy names because Quesnelle believes that the only thing that matters when you visit Le Bon Visage is your name and your skin.

Finally, someone who really gets you.
